Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope everyone has a safe, happy Thanksgiving day. We'll be hosting, we'll have 15 adults, and 8 children here tomorrow, 3 of which are crawling babies. Yep, it ought to be fun. J/K. Actually we're looking forward to it. Sushi is going to be smoking a 23 lb turkey and most of the food has been assigned out to the guests. So, tomorrow shouldn't be too hard on us, stovetop takes all of 5 minutes, green bean casserole takes about 15 minutes to whip up and 30 minutes to cook, pumpkin pies are already made and Sushi made the cranberry sauce tonight. I hope all goes well tomorrow. What are some of your thanksgiving traditions? We always have to say something we're thankful for before dinner can start. It's getting really fun with the kids getting a little older. Well, toodles, I need some sleep before tomorrow. And HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!

I hope you guys had a fantastic Thanksgiving!

Curious about the smoked turkey. I bought one smoked at the grocery store, but we didn't care for it. I'm thinking smoking one myself would have been a lot better.

Happy Thanksgiving late! I haven't had much time on the computer lately (except for the ever-addicting Facebook!).

Hope you guys had a great day. We had a really nice one at my parents' house. Any pictures?

I don't want to toot my own horn, but I thought the turkey turned out allright. I used hickory to produce the smoke, and it lent a good flavor to the meat, also the turkey stayed pretty moist (always a good thing with turkey). We didn't get too many pictures on thanksgiving as we had 18 guests over. But I did get some pictures of my test run that I did on Halloween. Maybe I'll get around to posting those in a couple of weeks, after finals.
