One Smart little cookie

Cookiemonster was fun yesterday, he surprised his Dad by counting to 40. He then proceded to understand that he could count to 100 by following the same pattern and even higher if he wanted to. I was impressed, this coming from a kid who isn't even in kindergarten yet. He will be in the fall and he will be one of the oldest kids in his class but even still, I'm proud of my smart little cookiemonster.

He is one smart cookie! But that's no surprise, is it? It's so much fun watching them learn.

I love it when they discover something new....being the oldest in the class is not a bad thing...sometimes parents push kids into school before the child is ready...that is a bad situation...my nephew is the youngest and smallest, he gets bullied alot, he should hav enot gone to school until the following year when he had matured mentally and physically...his mom thought he was so intelligent that he needed tobe in school....now he fights going and hates it...he is 13...I worry about him...

Cheer- we struggled with whether to send him or not but we feel good about just sticking with the deadline given in the school system now.
