31 Weeks

Well, it's been a while since I posted pictures of myself and my huge belly. I had Sushiboy take these this morning,

And here is one from the side

In other news, my sister had her baby last night all natural. Whew! She wanted to avoid another c-section and she was able to. She was waiting until the baby was born to find out the gender (like us!) And she had a 9'5" little girl! They picked a beautiful name and I'm so happy for her that she was able to avoid another c-section like she wanted to so badly.

Also, remember when we redid the front yard??? There was this patch that I needed to replant grass in.

Well, here it is! I've never planted grass before so I am very happy to see it coming in so thick and nice. For a minute there I was wondering if it was going to come in or not, then within a few days it looked like that.

I have a doctors appointment today and we'll see if I'm still measuring big and if they still want to do another ultrasound to check on baby and it sounds like possibly move the date up. I have very mixed feelings about this. I know they're afraid I'll have a 10 lb baby but if I have it right before thanksgiving I won't be going to thanksgiving. I really don't want to be in the hospital on thanksgiving or sitting at home recovering alone while everyone else goes to thanksgiving with the family. So, while I would LOVE to be done early, I really hope we keep the Dec 2 date for the c-section so life will stay easy and my plans will all work out.

Superwoman-
That color is very flattering on you. You really are a pretty girl...and yes, that does mean pregnant too. :) Good luck with the baby's delivery date, or rather keeping that date. If you have to be in the hospital on Thanksgiving, we can have an early Thanksgiving at our house with just our two families.:)

I am glad your sister had her baby, maybe one day I'll have mine. Sigh.

Leslie's right, that is a good color on you - is it one of your new shirts? Even though you went up a size you are all baby, all out front, you really do look good. You've done awesome to keep it off everywhere else.

You're beautiful. Having a child is sometimes the best of times and sometimes the worst of times. No one but the Savior knows what a mother goes through and WILL DO for her child.

The world perception of beauty is designed to destroy motherhood and family. The true definition of beauty = charity. Beauty is 'pure love'.

The best thing you can do is to take care of your good health for you and your baby.

I had a doctor tell me once that the best thing I could do for my family was to take good care of myself. I didn't. I always put myself last or not at all. My family suffered.

Focus on the eternal perspective and forget about all the temporal stuff.

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL :)

Hoosier Girl - maybe we can find a way to come out and see you! I think its our turn :) I would love to visit Indiana again.

SW - Thx for everything you have done to get our baby here! I love you.

lsl- thanks! I appreciate the offer! I just don't want to be at the big family ones where everyone will be wanting to hold and touch the baby and having snotty noses and putting fingers in the baby's mouth, etc, etc. Not with a brand new baby!

Karen- I appreciate the compliment, that is actually one of the old shirts but it is one of my favorites, I feel like it doesn't make me look so wide. My sister took cod liver oil and was in labor within a few hours.

tug- thank you!

lisita- I appreciate it, I'm feeling alright all things considered!

Gma nasus- thankyou, this isn't one of my favorite things to do but it's worth it.

hoosiergirl- me too, I can't wait to be done!

sushi- thanks for all the hard work you do to support our family.
